Actions

Consequences, a factor, a possibility that is most often caused by a very specific action. Unfortunately, actions are rarely controlled, actions go unnoticed and so do consequences in some cases. The norm for justifying such actions is most often the effect of one's surroundings or the actions of other people that led to one's own actions. This...influence of action that others or your surrounding may have on you, it is quite a dangerous thing.

Now, it's not possible to completely be unaffected by the actions of others. The key factor here is REDUCING the effect by a significant amount. When somebody makes an undesired comment or purposefully attempts to provoke you, there are two main choices: you either react, or you don't. I can tell you from personal experience that reacting is not always the best option, but it can be justified in certain situations but the point is that when you chose to not react you are effectively showing the world that you cannot be influenced easily. Think about it, if someone can make you do something by merely using petty words, what can someone trying to intentionally harm your career do?

It's safe to assume that not allowing the negative thoughts of others to affect your own mindset is a key part of life, it allows you to grow in a way that lets you adapt better to society and the world. Strengthen your mind to a point where you can choose your own actions, where influencing you becomes a task that cannot be condoned by even the most effective of persuasions. Go out into the world and be someone that shows everyone else that maturity and dauntless decision-making skills are skills to be taken with more than a grain of salt.

Stay strong
