Strong

It's a strange thing that I've come to notice in many people, I'm sure you've probably seen it in your own friends and family, maybe even yourself, and that is the trait of being blind to your own strength. They see strength in others, they find qualities in people that were hidden, concealed beneath the insecurities, but for unknown reasons, their own talents remain unseen, ignored and left behind. It's an interesting and quite unfortunate phenomenon in my opinion.

There also comes the question of whether it is simply humility. Perhaps they are too modest to admit their strengths, they do not wish to believe that they have something that makes them better than others, but to be honest, why does a talent unique to you have to make you better than someone else, it simply means you are different, nothing more, nothing less. It takes a large amount of persuasion to make some people believe that they are more than they believe they are. Most often than not, people that have this symptom end up insecure about themselves, because they find the good in others, but not in themselves.

Not surprisingly, the reverse works as well. The same people that receive positive feedback about their talents and strengths often find something that is great in the person communicating with them, a form of a trade is done between them, each finding the hidden potential in each other. It's a beautiful thing really, and it shows just how empathetic human beings can be. One of the greatest abilities of a person, any person, is to be able to empathize with anyone and any situation that they come across. When one can understand and accept the challenges that are thrown at them and face them without harming anybody around them, then they have truly become great. Humans are strong because they can feel, we have the profound skill of generosity and kindness, and it's melancholic to realize that it is not as prevalent as it should be.

If you're reading this, and I know that you'll understand instantly if I described exactly your personality earlier, or slightly similar, there's something you need to know. I know you've heard it a thousand times, but there is only one of you, on the entire planet and in the universe. No matter how much better others seem to you, even if they are, it's because you're focusing on their strengths, instead, look at yours. See with the vision that others have of you, I kid you not I can guarantee that there are a few people out there feeling the same way that you feel, except they look at you for admiration, they think that they want to be like you, and the cycle continues. Point is, everyone is good at something, and if you don't notice your strengths right away,
do not fret, talent is not as vivid as everything else, it takes time to figure out and nourish, patience is key, remember that.

Thanks for reading once again, hope you have a great day! Stay strong out there!
